Introduction to BIGapp for Plant Breeding
Duration: 2 hours
Audience: Undergraduates, graduate students, and researchers interested in applying genomics to plant breeding
Prerequisites: None — no coding experience required!

- Why genomics matters for breeding decisions
- Data import and quality control
- Population structure analysis (PCA)
- Genome-wide association study (GWAS)
- Genomic selection (optional/self-study)
Workshop Format
Workshops are designed as hands-on sessions where participants follow along using the online version of BIGapp. No software installation required — just a web browser.
